WOD 18.03.2020 and COVID -19 measures

CrossFit Teesside’s COVID-19 measures.

CrossFit Teesside has taken significant actions to ensure we continue to provide a clean, safe and hygienic environment for both our staff and members.

To reinforce our social media message last week we want to remind you of our actions, inform you of our new recent actions and future contingencies.

We will asses everything on a day by day situation but as of now the box will remain open as usual until we are ordered to do anything different. We ask you not to attend class if you are suffering any of the Covid-19 symptoms. We ask you to follow our lead in upping our hygiene standards, we have provided extra disinfectant spray bottles, hand wash/sanitiser and more is on order.

– Please wash/sanitise your hands before and after class
– Please spray/wipe equipment after class
– Be sensible with physical contact.

The box is NOT a humid environment, we will have the roller shutter door open to allow a continuous air flow and the staff will maintain your high hygiene standards between classes and will continue to sanitise common touch areas. On Sunday we have a deep anti-bacterial/ disinfectant clean booked in, the team will use anti-bacterial mist spray guns and not miss one square inch of space or equipment.

For future contingencies we have lots of ideas to still be able to provide you guys with a fitness program we know will keep you in tip top shape both physically and mentally.

As CrossFit Teesside members who exercise intensely on a regular basis you will already have a strong immune system, to give yourself the best chance of staying fit and healthy you need to keep those levels high. As well as maintaining exercise we recommend you keep on top of or increase your fruit and vegetables intake, get plenty of vitamins into you!!

We want to thank all of the kind reassuring messages we’ve received so far, until we are told otherwise we will continue to operate. Please stay sensible and be disciplined with our outlined measures.
