WOD-“13.08.12”

Outstanding effort to everybody who completed the Spartan Race yesterday. We demonstrated what a solid unity we have at the box by helping each other through the demanding parts. Not only did we help our own athletes but we inspired many others to finish the course by helping them over the last hurdle just as they were about to throw the towel in!! That’s how we operate at CrossFit Teesside, we DEFY OUR OWN LIMITATIONS which then becomes contagious and inspires others. I’m proud of you all for such an awesome performance……Doing things that once seemed impossible is extremely rewarding!! Special mentions to Becci Dunn for being the 3rd fastest female and Kelly Mylan for being the 4th fastest female, also young Bohdan Whitfield for finishing 4th fastest male.

Barbell complex tekkers with PVC pipe/20kg bar

WOD-Barbell Complex

5 Rounds for time using a 42.5kg/60kg barbell of:

  • 15 Deadlifts
  • 12 Hang Power Cleans
  • 9 Front Squats
  • 6 Shoulder to Overhead

*Scale as needed by reducing the rep range to 12-9-6-3 or 8-6-4-2/ Scale weight as needed*
