WOD 07.02.2017

Registration is now live for the 2017 CrossFit Open which begins 23rd February. The CrossFit Open is the first stage of the CrossFit Games and a worldwide CrossFit Competition that anyone can enter! The Open is the biggest CrossFit event of the year and we encourage everyone to give it a try.

You will complete five workouts over five weeks, the workouts are released every Thursday night, you will have from Friday until Monday to complete it and submit your score to the worldwide leader board online. Your workout will be judged by one of the Coaches or by someone who has completed the Online Judges Course. Most of the workouts released will be very similar to those which we programme in our regular classes, including Weights & Standards we follow.

For each workout released you will have the choice of completing either the full version of the WOD or a scaled version of the WOD, there are even different age categories which are scaled appropriately, which means “The Open” is very inclusive to everyone!

We would love to see as many of you as possible give “The Open” a try, even if it is not your goal to be a competitive CrossFit Athlete, it is great to get together in the Box and give these workouts a go. We guarantee you will push yourself that little bit harder than normal, and the more people that take part, the better the atmosphere in the box is!
