Workout of the Day

WOD 05.01.2015

For those of you who are signed up to the current Olympic Weightlifting Course, we have been taking a break over Christmas and New Year, now that we are back to our usual routine, its time to get back to it!

In the 2nd half of the Course we will be learning the Clean & Jerk, and building our Front Squat Strength. The 1st session back will be this upcoming weekend. Saturday 10th Jan @ 4:00pm – 5:00pm and Sunday 11th Jan @ 9:00am – 10:00am. If you can’t make it at the weekend please send me a message to let me know.

Warm Up:
Run 400m + Row 400m
Stretch & Mobilise

Pistol Squat Tekkers
Power Clean Tekkers

5 Rounds For Time Of:
10 Power Cleans @ 42.5/60kg
8 Right Legged Pistol Squats
8 Left Legged Pistol Squats
Run 100m

* Scale WEIGHT as needed
* Scale Pistols by holding onto Band/Post, using an Equipment aid
* Pistols can also be Scaled for Air Squats
