Workout of the Day


We at CrossFit Teesside would like to wish one of our founder members, Sandra Tearney a very Happy 51st birthday. Also we would like to wish Simon Devlin a Happy Birthday as he hits his big 40!!!! This WOD is dedicated to the two of you 🙂

Sandra started CrossFit roughly 11 months ago when she used to undertake personal training with me at Romano Park. Since starting CrossFit Sandra has certainly optimised our slogan “DEFY YOUR LIMITATIONS” by being an ever present participant in the morning crew, like everybody else she throws everything she has into the WODs and never gives up or stops until she has finished.

Warm up

Stretch, mobilise, choose partners.

WOD- in partners of similar ability perform the following chipper

  • Run 800m (carrying a 10kg/20kg plate)
  • 51 Air Squats
  • 40 KB Swings
  • Run 600m
  • 51 Ball Slams
  • 40 Press ups
  • Run 400m
  • 51 Static Lunges
  • 40 Sit ups
  • Run 200m
  • 51 Burpees

Finisher- 50m partner relay Sled Pull @ 50kg.

Saturdays WOD will be OPEN WOD 12.2, if you need to do it Friday then please try and do it in OPEN GYM if possible
