Team WOD & Competitor WOD – “17/01/2014”

For those of you who are unfamiliar with how things work on a Friday, today there are two sessions on offer. All Classes apart from the 7:00pm – 8:00pm class are ran as a “Team WOD”. This involves being paired up with one of your fellow Crossfit Teessiders and working together to complete the WOD. Team WOD’s are great as you are guaranteed to push yourself to the max in order to do well for your partner!

The 7:00pm – 8:00pm class is Competitor WOD. This session is designed for our more experienced Crossfitters who are moving on to advanced movements & loads and possibly have their eye on competing in future Crossfit Competitions!

All of the CrossFit Teesside Coaches will be away this weekend at the Battle of London. Classes will still run as normal, all evening classes Friday, and Saturday’s classes will be taken by Chris Mason, Head Coach of Crossfit Jacana.

Warm Up:
Run 800m
Stretch & Mobilise

Goblet Squat Tekkers

Team WOD: (In Pairs)
20 Minute AMRAP Of:
30 Push Press @ 30/42.5kg
30 Goblet Squats @ 16/24kg
30 Lateral Burpees
30 Wallballs @ 6/9kg
2x 200m Run (one run per person)

A 10/20kg Plate must be held from the floor for the full duration of the WOD. Every Minute On The Minute, the person who is holding the Plate at that time must perform 4 Overhead Plate Lunges.

* Scale WEIGHTS as needed.

Competitor WOD: 7:00 – 8:00pm

5 Front Squats @ 42.5/60kg
