Team & Competitor WOD 24.04.2015

Here is some information about the upcoming Weightlifting course at CrossFit Teesside. The course is designed for anyone who would like to improve their Technique in the Olympic Lifts and Build Strength & Confidence with a Barbell. During the course, you will be taken step by step through the Snatch, and Clean & Jerk. Plus you will spend time in the Strength Section building your Squats.

The course takes place on Weekends and will run for 12 weeks. Please make sure that you will be available for at least 10 of the sessions before you commit.

The full cost for the 12 weeks is £60, to secure a place you will need to provide a 50% cash deposit (balance due before course begins). The 1st weekend of the course will be 13th/14th June. Below are the available class times, each class is limited to 12 partcipants, please select your regular class time when you sign up.

Saturday 4:00pm – 5:15pm

Saturday 5:30pm – 6:45pm

Sunday 9:00am – 10:15am

For those of you who are unfamiliar with how things work on a Friday, today there are two sessions on offer. All Classes apart from the 7:00pm – 8:00pm class are ran as a “Team WOD”. This involves being paired up with one of your fellow CrossFit Teessiders and working together to complete the WOD. Team WOD’s are great as you are guaranteed to push yourself to the max in order to do well for your partner!

The 7:00pm – 8:00pm class is Competitor WOD. This session is designed for our more experienced CrossFitters who are moving on to advanced movements & loads and possibly have their eye on competing in future CrossFit Competitions.

15 Ring Muscle Ups
35 Toes to Bar
55 Wallballs @ 6/9kg

Time Cap = 25 Minutes

* Scale Muscle Ups for a Progression e.g Jumping MU or Low Ring Band MU, or swap for an alterntive movement.
